St. Duthus had previously enjoyed a 100% home league record against their Easter Ross rivals since moving up to Grant Park in 2018 - but this afternoon, Invergordon made sure any hoodoos were put to bed with a second half blitz that componded Saints to a 6-1 defeat.
A man of the match performance from on-loan keeper Danny Gillan was on the cards in the early going with a good save on 9 minutes before Gary Millard blocked a rebound on the line, but Ken Morrison couldn't be prevented from opening the scoring at the third time of asking.
Invergordon doubled their lead with a goal from Ben Kelly on 37 minutes but Saints immediately fired back, Adam Allan tapping home a ball across goal from Ben Bruce to net his first goal of the season.
Going in just a goal down at the interval, Saints looked like they were still in the game - but Invergordon moved into the ascendency just three minutes after the restart when Cameron Mackintosh netted their third, beginning an onslaught that the home side had no answer to.
Saints' horrendous start to the second half continued when Mackintosh added his second three minutes later, and on 58 minutes Kyle Maclean found the net to make it 5-1.
Substitute Darran Goller rounded off the Invergordon scoring with the final touch on a stramash on 76 minutes.
